You may wish to bring a pair of shorts, but it is not essential.
A consultation will be carried out prior to treatment taking place. If you are a new client, you will receive a form to complete online. When you attend your appointment you will be asked some questions prior to treatment. This may include questions relating to your work, sport, activities and any medical history. This helps to build up a picture of any contributing factors and ascertain what the focus and objectives of the treatment are.
It is quite normal to feel some level of discomfort. Most people would describe it as “good pain”. It is not designed to be a torture session! At any point during the session the pressure can be adjusted. The areas treated can feel slightly sore a day or two after the treatment – this is similar to doing a new exercise and the muscles feeling sore afterwards for a short period.

There is no set answer to this. It depends on what the problem is and how your body responds to treatment. 1 – 3 treatments can be useful to help treat a specific issue. Sometimes referral to another therapist or medical professional may be required. Everyone has their own individual requirements.
It really depends on you as an individual. Many clients find that a treatment every 4-6 weeks really helps to support their activities or conditions. If you are training for a specific event it can be useful to have treatments more regularly, particularly, as your training builds. Alternatively, as and when you feel it necessary.
Payments can be made by cash, card or BACS. If paying by cash, please bring correct money if possible.
